INKEY List Launches Exosome Hydro-Glow Complex: A Game-Changer for Skincare at Home

We all know I love a fabulous beauty event, and The INKEY List didn’t disappoint! They celebrated the launch of their new Exosome Hydro-Glow Complex with an event in Greenwich Village. Picture this: a space designed to feel like you’re at a luxe medical clinic, complete with hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails (with branded ice!), and all the skincare knowledge you could ever want. The brand made sure to give us the whole experience, diving deep into the technology behind this new product, which is designed to replace expensive facial treatments (think $600) for just $22 per bottle—yes, you read that right, $22!

I caught up with co-founder Colette Laxton, who served looks in a white turban, cozy robe, and strappy black heels with a bold, orange lip. It was giving boss babe!

I asked Colette to share what inspired The INKEY List’s latest innovation and how it stands out in the ever-evolving beauty world.

INKEY List founders, Mark and Colette

From Concept to Creation: Exosome Hydro-Glow Complex

“The INKEY List is all about taking the BS out of the beauty industry,” Colette says. “We wanted to cut through the lack of transparency and crazy prices. All those ‘magic’ treatments out there? That’s all bullshit! Our mission was to create a brand that delivers great products at amazing prices and, most importantly, gives people the knowledge to make informed decisions. We found this incredible technology—exosomes—becoming popular in medical clinics, but we knew not everyone could access that. So, we created a product that packs those transformative results into a bottle you can use at home for $22.”

Behind the Brand: The INKEY List Origins

Colette shared a bit about her journey: “I worked at Boots in the UK for 10 years, where I learned all about product development, manufacturing, and marketing. Mark and I—he’s a scientist—got together and said, ‘Hey, we can do this better.’ We launched The INKEY List because we saw consumers talking to each other on platforms like Reddit and Facebook. They were confused about what products to use for their skin concerns. We didn’t just want to sell them stuff; we wanted to help them.”

Bridging the Gap Between Professional and At-Home Treatments

One thing that stood out during our chat was Colette’s thoughts on bringing professional skincare into the at-home market. “There’s no need for a divide,” she says. “Professionals do incredible work, but not everyone can access those treatments. Our goal was to offer a more affordable alternative or even something that those who get professional treatments could use in between to maintain their results. Our products are clinically tested, so it’s not just about value. It’s about delivering real, visible results.”

The Challenge of Making It Affordable

Bringing this product to life wasn’t without its challenges. “The most exciting part was trying to make this incredible technology available for just $22,” Colette laughs. “We’re bringing something new to the market, and it’s tough to get the formula right while keeping the price point low, but we’re proud of what we’ve done.”

What’s Next for The INKEY List?

Colette hinted at exciting things: “We’re always focusing on healthy skin, and we’ve got some exciting things in the works. We want to protect and maintain healthy skin, especially against the elements. That’s all I can say for now, but stay tuned.”

Final Skincare Advice:

Colette advises our readers: “Challenge the industry, find the right products for your skin, and don’t get swayed by great marketing or TikTok trends.”

With products like the Exosome Hydro-Glow Complex, The INKEY List continues to change the skincare game. The future of affordable, practical beauty is here—and it’s looking pretty good, besties.

XOXO,

Your Beauty Bestie
