Awards season is officially starting and to kick it off, we have the Golden Globe Awards. With the nominations for this year’s 81st Golden Globe Awards being released, it’s time to take a look back at last year’s awards season in anticipation for what’s to come. Here are the best looks from the 80th Golden Globe Awards red carpet.

Lily James (Versace)

Nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture for her role as Pamela Anderson in Pam and Tommy, Lily James was dressed in Atelier Versace. Donning a deep red strapless gown with cutouts at the waist, she paired the billowing dress with a diamond choker and matching earrings, a perfect mix of elegance and sexiness.

Michelle Yeoh (Armani Privé)

Taking home her first Golden Globe Award for her role as Evelyn Wang in Everything Everywhere All At Once, seasoned actress Michelle Yeoh was dressed in a midnight blue sequined dress from Armani Privé. Yeoh opted for her natural long hair to go with her strapless peplum gown and diamonds donning her neck, wrists, and ears. Her award was long overdue, and we can’t wait to see more from her!

Billy Porter (Christian Siriano)

Billy Porter is famously known for bringing his A-game when it comes to red carpets, and at the 80th Golden Globe Awards red carpet, he did not disappoint. A presenter for the show, Porter was dressed in a fuchsia tuxedo gown by Christian Siriano, reminiscent of his iconic velvet tuxedo gown from the 2019 Oscars. Let’s hope he brings that same dramatic style to this year’s award season!

Donald Glover (Saint Laurent)

Nominated for Best Television Actor in a Musical/Comedy Series for his role in Atlanta, Donald Glover emulated swag with his Saint Laurent flare trousers and wrap robe. With just the right amount of slouch in his double-breasted jacket, Glover managed to look both comfortable and stylish.

Hannah Einbinder (Carolina Herrera)

Hacks star Hannah Einbinder pulled up to the Golden Globes wearing a gorgeous Carolina Herrera gown. With a sweetheart neckline and simple white detailing around the bodice, Einbinder paired her dress with Tiffany and Co. jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Eddie Redmayne (Valentino)

Inspired by the Spring 2023 collection, Eddie Redmayne wore a suit designed by Valentino‘s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Pairing a sheer top with pants that are just a bit long and a jacket featuring a rose on the blazer adds a chic touch to menswear.

Julia Garner (Gucci)

Actress Julia Garner was nominated for two awards during the 80th Golden Globe Awards: Best Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television and Best Supporting Actress in a Musical/Comedy or Drama Series. Winning the award for Best Supporting Actress, Garner wore a pale pink Gucci gown and her hair slicked back in a pixie cut.

That was it for the best looks of the 80th Golden Globe Awards! You can check out this award season’s nominations here. Which look was your favorite? Let us know!
