In honor of Pride Month, I’ve been exploring LGBTQ owned brands from hair to beauty. Below are some of the LGBTQ hair brands I found to support!

JVN

JVN Hair is a sustainable haircare line created by Johnathan Van Ness, a professional hairstylist, author, podcaster, and TV personality. The founder generates positivity and inclusivity through haircare products made with efficient and clean ingredients. Each product caters to diverse hair types, ranging from healthy scalps to damaged hair.

Madison Reed

Female-founded and queer-owned, Madison Reed is a hair color brand that values diversity, love, courage, and quality hair products. When formulating products, the brand uses ingredients free of harsh elements such as ammonia, parabens, and phthalates but instead uses ingredients like keratin and argon oil. Madison Reed offers a wide range of hair colors and shades, as well as hair tools and treatments.

MALIN + GOETZ

Committed to sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity, MALIN + GOETZ creates high-quality products, from hair care to fragrances. Founders Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz started their brand with only six products that work for all skin types, and they have only expanded their product base since then, still catering to any and all skin and hair types.

Kaleidoscope

The Kaleidoscope hair brand offers various beautifying goods for your hair, from miracle drops to hair growth vitamins. CEO and founder Jesseca Dupart has always had a natural talent for styling hair, which shines through in her hair products. The brand is dedicated to improving hair quality and growth for everyone’s hair care journey.

Beekman 1802

Surrounding the golden ingredient of goat milk, Beekman 1802 produces quality skin and hair care creations. The certified cruelty-free brand sources goat milk from US family farms to promote healthy hair and give it growth and shine. These products include goat milk volumizing mousse, shampoo, and conditioner.

If you’re looking for new products to incorporate into your hair routine, hopefully, you’ve found one of the brands above to be a good addition to your hair’s health!

XOXO,

Your Fashion Bestie
