New York Fashion Week never disappoints when it comes to bold fashion statements—and this year, the makeup looks were the ultimate show-stealers. From Shakespearean romance to avant-garde artistry, the beauty on the runways was as diverse as it was daring. Let’s dive into the standout looks that had everyone talking (and screenshotting).
Alice + Olivia: Shakespeare, but Make It Sexy

I had the distinct pleasure of being the lead makeup artist for this show, and I knew I had to bring it! The vibe? Ethereal, timeless, and oh-so-romantic. Alice + Olivia took us straight to Verona with a modern-day Juliet aesthetic. And the star of the show was the. ‘Cherry Cola Lip.’ We created a sultry mix of brown liner, deep red lipstick, and a juicy clear gloss on top. It gave Renaissance romance meets Y2K nostalgia, and we’re here for it.
Thom Browne: When Makeup Takes Flight

If you thought feathers were just for fashion, Thom Browne said, “Think again.” The models flaunted bird-like feather lashes that fluttered with every blink, paired with geometric lip art in playful, primary hues. These lashes were the hot topic backstage—because why settle for basic mascara when you can look like a walking work of art?
Luar: ’80s Supermodel with a DIY Twist

Luar brought a cool collision of ‘80s supermodel glam and underground club kid vibes. Picture stark white eyeshadow, a smoky black cut crease, and an unapologetically bold attitude. It gave Cindy Crawford meets NYC drag scene, and we loved every second of it.
Christian Siriano: Eye Candy, Literally

Inspired by sleek car designs, Siriano served up graphic eye looks with sharp angles and bold lines. These weren’t your average winged liners—think architectural precision with a side of drama. Eye makeup as sleek as a luxury car? Yes, please!
Melke: Lashes for Days (and Nights)

Spider lashes are back, baby! Melke went full-on edgy with thick clusters of lashes on both the top and bottom lids. The result? Eyes that demanded attention from across the room. TikTok lash lovers, take notes.
Tia Adeola: A Nigerian Dream

For Tia Adeola, glam met heritage with a sultry green smoky eye inspired by the Nigerian flag. Smoky lids, sharp liner, and plush lips came together to create a luxurious and deeply personal look. It was cultural pride with a high-glam twist.
Anna Sui: Pinup Perfection

Anna Sui took us back to the ‘40s with vintage socialite vibes. The standout feature? A dramatic, lower-lash cat-eye that added a retro-yet-modern flair. Old Hollywood glam, reimagined for the cool kids.
The Blonds: Viva Las Glam

Glitter, rhinestones, and showgirl drama—The Blonds went full-on Vegas. The models shimmered with crystal-encrusted lids, sky-high lashes, and eyeliner sharp enough to cut through the noise. It was glam with a capital G.
Gabe Gordon: Barbiecore 2.0

Gabe Gordon’s models rocked overlined, glossy pink lips that looked like they were made of rubber. The effect? Doll-like and slightly surreal. Think Bratz doll lips IRL—equal parts playful and slightly unsettling (in the best way).
Sandy Liang: Soft Pastel Perfection

Sandy Liang kept things whimsical with watercolor-washed eyes in dreamy pastels. The soft hues added a nostalgic touch that felt like childhood dress-up, but make it fashion.
This season’s makeup was all about breaking rules and having fun, from romantic cherry lips to feathery lashes and rubberized pouts. And honestly, besties, isn’t that what beauty should always be about?
