With Pride Month coming to a close, the celebration reached its peak this past Wednesday, June 25. Capelle Miami, R House Miami, and V Gelato joined forces for one final event: Pride with Purpose. This two-part event united Miami’s creative and LGBTQ+ communities for a night of fashion and philanthropy, all in support of the local nonprofit Men in Pink.
The evening kicked off at Capelle Miami, where vodka met vegans as guests sipped Deep Eddy Vodka cocktails and enjoyed vegan gelato from V Gelato. As the DJ played upbeat tracks, attendees checked out Capelle’s latest collection of stylish, luxury men’s swimwear. What made this fashionable night even more memorable? For every swim set sold, Capelle donated a matching one to someone in need through the nonprofit Men in Pink, supporting women and children across South Florida.
Famous for its lively drag brunches, the evening continued at R House Wynwood with a glamorous media dinner. Influencers and trendsetters gathered for a night filled with community, cocktails, and culture. Guests witnessed an exclusive Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Viewing Party, wrapped with a special appearance from activist and icon Carmen Carrera.
Further amplifying the night, 10% of all proceeds from R House were donated to Men in Pink. Co-founder, Christoph Babka, expressed his gratitude to his partners for the night, saying, “Furthering our mission of social philanthropy, we shared a wonderful Sip & Shop event and are so grateful to have clothing donated to our partner, Lotus House, helping homeless women and children.”
