Marking its 10th Annual Queer New York Fashion Week Show at the Brooklyn Museum, DapperQ partnered with the Museum and Brooklyn Pride, Inc. to celebrate inclusivity. On September 12th, the event brought together queer and trans designers, artists, leaders, and more than 60 models who graced the runway. Famed models and community icons included Mila Jam, Jari Jones, Devin Norelle, and Keʻalohilani Naone-Carter.
Despite political and cultural attempts to silence the queer and trans community, the show emanated resilience and self-expression. Celebrating artistry and identity, DapperQ turned the runway into a platform of visibility. The runway showcased dynamic designs by ALEGRÍA, BoiPKG, DYKEMINT, Zoe Grinfeld, Hesta, Soid Studios New York by José González, and Transguy Supply.

Unapologetically fashionable, this year’s anniversary show honored its legacy while looking to the future. Executive Producer Anita Dolce Vita said it best, “As queer visibility faces unprecedented attacks—including the soft censorship of exhibitions being postponed or toned down—it is essential that we reclaim our narrative on the runway. Our 10th Annual Show was not just fashion; it’s defiance, celebration, and survival.”
