Behind the Scenes at alice + olivia’s SS26 Presentation

Renowned fashion brand alice + olivia showcased their Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Surrogate’s Court, Manhattan. Inspired by Americana and the American woman, the show’s hair, makeup, and nails embodied the essence of America in honor of the United States’ 250th birthday. Keep scrolling to hear all that went on behind the scenes at the alice + olivia show.

Makeup

Headed by XOXO’s very own beauty editor, T. Cooper, this season’s look was all about emphasizing every model’s natural features. “We wanted to show the diversity and the beauty of American women,” T. said. To accomplish that look, several gold and silver metallics were used on the eyelids to create a nice sheen—T. even made a gold mascara for some of the models to wear! She also made custom lip, cheek, and contour colors using products from Lip Lab, the sponsor of this season.

Hair

Celebrity hairstylist Glen Coco led this season’s hair for alice + olivia, featuring a sort of twist on the slicked-back bun using two pigtails braided together really tightly. To add a bit of flair, different kinds of materials were interwoven between the braids, from strings of pearls to strips of fabric. Of course, Glen made sure to keep the hair glossy using his sponsor Amika’s Supernova Moisture and Shine Cream, giving a shiny look without that crunchy feel.

Nails

Returning once again to the alice + olivia show is Miss Pop, who designed the nails for this season. She created four nail looks all inspired by Americana: a sparkly gold chrome, a shining pearly chrome, and two red and white striped looks. According to Miss Pop, the red and white striped nails are meant to echo the look of an American sporty sock, which is what several models wore amongst a grassy, football field-type set.
