Our Favorite Beauty Moments from NYFW S/S 26

New York Fashion Week always brings the drama, but this season, the beauty looks were giving GYATT! Spring/Summer 2026 reminded us that beauty isn’t background, it is the headline.

Theophilio was pure island vibes. A true love letter to West Indian dancehall culture, the models came down the runway radiating bad gyal energy. The colorful hair was fearless, joyful, and unapologetic, like your favorite bashment tune blasting from a car window on a summer night.

Collina Strada was double trouble on the runway. The metallic, animal-inspired makeup shimmered as the models stomped the runway in motion – and then they hit us with hats made of hair. Yes, literal hair! Extra points for the creativity. It’s really difficult for a designer to show me something new, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen this before.

Luar stole the spotlight with gold foil lips that made every look feel instantly iconic. The Blondes turned nails into weapons of mass glam with claws stacked in three-dimensional art. Every set was giving “don’t f**k with me” energy.

Diotima proved you don’t have to scream to make a statement. Powder cascaded from the hair down onto the cheeks, like fairy dust that had been gently sprinkled across the face. Subtle but stunning. Christian Siriano’s liquid wave, on the other hand, was so sleek and polished it looked like hair had been spun into glass.

Alice + Olivia channeled the American woman with sculpted, dewy skin and Lip Lab signature shades that felt clean, fresh, and timeless. Tyler McGillivary gave us mermaid-core with waves so good, Ariel would be jealous.

Guvanch turned the runway into a hair show with custom headpieces and sculpted creations fit for an art gallery. Sandy Liang kept things short and sweet with playful “daddy’s little girl” styles that gave NYFW their fresh, youthful point of view.
