Capri Chic Marks 25 Years of Melissa Odabash During NYFW
Marking her 25th anniversary with a Capri-themed showcase at New York Fashion Week, Melissa Odabash unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The standing-room-only show featured luxurious swim and resort staples infused with modern glamour.
Diving headfirst into Capri’s coastline, the room radiated resort chic to the sounds of classic Donna Summer disco hits. Adding to the atmosphere, 360° LED projections of the Amalfi Coast and a 25-year retrospective of Odabash’s magazine covers transformed the space into an immersive backdrop. Looks channeled energy from bronzing on the beach to dancing on tables with the girls after cocktails in the Hamptons. Supporting the fabulous designer in the front row were Odabash’s A-list friends, including Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Countess Luann de Lesseps with boyfriend Michael Riemerschmid, and Ramona Singer.
Models strutted down the runway in tailored linen pant-and-button-down sets, flattering cinched rompers, sheer kaftans layered over swimwear, and statement cover-ups. Guided by timeless neutrals, the palette emphasized black, white, and off-white, balanced by soft pinks and dark denims. Fabrics ranged from lace and crochet to soft cottons and structured linens, appearing across dresses and co-ords styled over swimwear. Versatile silhouettes were elevated with ethereal finishes like dusted silver specks, coral-inspired prints, and delicate romantic lace.
