The summer heat is hitting, and I’ve been scavenging for the best summer essentials to glow, smell delicious, and look stylish. I don’t know about you, but the heat makes me reluctant to wear heavy, caked-on makeup. I prefer to wear lightweight, minimal products that are safe for my acne-prone skin. I’ve been cycling through hundreds of products over the past few summers, and I’ve finally landed on a clear-skin glow routine that works for me. The best part? The Night Before
I like to use my Hydrating CeraVe Face Wash followed by the Dam Dam Citrus Glow Serum every night. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin’s brightness after consistently using this product. I like to use this every night paired with a gentle face cream.
Daily Skincare
Summer skin is all about keeping things light, hydrated, and glowy. My go-to combo is the Typology Bronzing Drops for that post-tan glow paired with Cetaphil Face & Body Moisturizer to keep my skin calm and hydrated without feeling greasy. To finish off, I use the Peach & Lily Sunscreen, which gives me a glass skin look.
Lips
I love me a good lip tint and lip balm combo. I cannot rave enough about the beautiful pout I get from combining the Etude Marker Tint with OLEHENRIKSEN Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment. I’ve gone through at least 6 tubes of the Peptide Lippie; it’s the only lip balm that’s been safe for my Perioral Dermatitis.
Makeup
When I want to look a little more put together without feeling like I’m wearing a full face, I reach for my miracle lightweight combo: Tower 28 Swipe Serum Concealer & Tower 28 SunnyDays SPF, and finishing off with the RCMA Makeup The Original No Color Powder. They even out my skin, soak up excess oil, and still let my natural glow come through.
Haircare

Bodycare
