On February 8, luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand Altuzarra (by Joseph Altuzarra) debuted their FW25 collection. Here’s everything that went on behind the scenes of the show.
Makeup
Headed by Bobbi Brown’s Global Artistic Director Hannah Murray, this season’s look was built around a fantastic smoky eye. Achieved through the use of Bobbi Brown’s dual-ended eye shadow and liner stick created by Murray for the Polished Grunge Collection, this product gave the models the perfect “destroyed” look in seconds.
This is the first time that Murray is working with Joseph Altuzarra, an experience she describes as “so nice!” “He just really wanted to bring texture and a sensuality,” she said.

Hair
This season’s hair styling was headed by award-winning hair brand Oribe and their Artist of Global Content, Mandee Tauber. The show featured three looks: one that enhanced the model’s natural haircuts and texture, a low ponytail, and a twist. All three of these styles were made using Oribe’s Foundation Mist, Crème for Style, and Free Styler Working Hairspray. “Everything was supposed to be meant like the girls just threw it up themselves,” Tauber said. “Super chic, super effortless!”

Nails
Nails were provided by the Yukie Natori nail team, headed by nail artist Aya Hirota. Altuzarra described his vision for the nails, saying, “I kept nails simple and natural—effortless but still polished. It wasn’t about perfection, but about creating an individual look for each model that felt natural and unique.”
To achieve this look, Hirota used very French-American colors that were both functional and elegant, like Chanel’s color #111. Named, “Ballerina,” this color is very versatile and able to match effortlessly with each of Altuzarra’s looks. “Altuzarra is a really big brand for me,” she said. “I’m so honored to work with Joseph.”

Skincare
The look for this season’s skin was tight, sculpted, bright, and even, lead by Sylwia Gorzkowska from 111Skin. In order to make the models look flush and ready for the cold weather outside, the Celestial Black Diamond Brightening Essence was used to prime, while the Black Diamond Vitamin C Brightening Booster and upcoming new product Dark Spot Correcting Serum were used to even out imperfections. The depuffing tools were also brought out to wake the skin up and bring it to life.
Skincare has to collaborate heavily with makeup, hair, and Joseph himself. “It was a dream because we all work together, we had the same vision,” Gorzkowska said. “Everything just blended together. It was really effortless and you can really see the skin shine through.”
XOXO,
Your Fashion Bestie
