Cesar Galindo: Spring/Summer 2026

Tonight, César Galindo delivered a spring/summer 2026 collection that was a riot of florals, prints, and unapologetic joy. From the moment guests entered, the tone was set: every front-row attendee was gifted a flower crown, transforming the audience into part of the blooming spectacle. It was a clever and intimate touch—an invitation to share in Galindo’s garden of vibrant fabrics and large-scale prints that made the runway feel alive with movement.

Galindo leaned heavily into bold florals and graphic prints, creating a dialogue between fluid femininity and confident structure. The silhouettes flowed easily—perfectly suited for warm weather—but the use of oversized blossoms and energetic patterns kept the eye engaged from look to look. Color was everywhere, and Galindo showed no fear of mixing palettes: from saturated blues to sharp black-and-white contrasts, the collection felt eclectic yet coherent, a painter’s canvas in motion.

Behind the scenes, makeup genius Luis Casco gave insight into how the beauty looks, tied seamlessly into Galindo’s aesthetic. “César’s collections are always full of color and prints, so I wanted the makeup to focus on one part of the face and really accentuate it,” Casco explained.

Instead of competing with the garments, Casco chose a monochromatic approach: blush swept in a C-shape from eye to cheek, echoed softly on the lips. The skin was luminous and fresh, with no heavy eye shadow—just a subtle play of lashes to keep things open and airy. “It was blush, blush, blush,” he emphasized, noting how the uniform tones offered a modern, sporty freshness that balanced the exuberance of Galindo’s fabrics.

The result was a show that celebrated both maximalism and restraint: bold prints against delicate beauty, exuberant crowns paired with clean, glowing skin. Galindo’s S/S26 presentation captured the spirit of spring in its purest form—not just through what walked the runway, but through the way the audience was woven into the experience.
