Custo Barcelona F/W 2024

“We Art Custo” Collection

Custo Barcelona was created in the early 1980s by the Dalmau brothers, Custo and David, after traveling the world and landing in California. While there, they became influenced by the style, expressed in the look of the surfers who lived in the south of the state, in addition to the psychedelia of the northern part.  Sunny Cali was indeed innovative and colorful fashion-wise for the brothers, something they hadn’t yet seen in Spain.  As a result, they began to work learning as much as possible about printing techniques and their finishes, with particular attention to graphic design. Over time, research into the use of color and prints enabled the brothers to create a line ruled by technology, audacity, and sophistication.

Today, Custo Barcelona embodies a style in itself, even a special joie de vivre in collections for both women and men – the line appeals to the style-forward public, fashion professionals, the press, and celebrities who love wearing the sexy, joyous and youthful clothes.

For his Fall/Winter 2024 collection “We Art Custo,” emotion is the goal, and art is the source of inspiration. Eccentric vibrant dresses take center stage alongside sparkly sporty outfits, coats, and jackets.  Every garment is for that special occasion or when you seek a jolt to the spirit.  Further, the designer’s distinctive DNA stands out in the surprising fusion of natural fabrics such as silk and cotton with technological fibers.  He continues to aim at women with an acute advanced fashion language to show their confidence and individuality.  Custo is never for the shy or faint of heart when it comes to what to wear!  Also, the color palette and graphics remain strong to reinforce the brand’s identity.

As expected, Custo Barcelona does not disappoint, and his runway show at Canoe Studios was a party for all.

XOXO,

Your Fashion Bestie
