Whether you are a bookworm or not, there are so many fashion books out there to enjoy. In honor of #NationalReadABookDay we wanted to share some of our favorites:
This beautiful book by celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge explains everything you need to know about the history of makeup. It takes you from as far back as ancient Egypt to the classical era to current styles. Not only is it informative, but it makes a beautiful coffee table book!
If you are a true fashion lover of our generation, you must know or have this extended collection of 90’s Harajuku street style by the one and only Shoichi Aoki. He’s the OG street style photographer. It is a decade’s worth of his collections that were originally published in FRUiTS, a popular Japanese street fashion magazine. And if you’d like, his collection for the early 2000s, “FRESH FRUiTS,” is also available.
What are you reading these days? What are your recommendations?? Please share!
XOXO,
Your Fashion Bestie
