LUMAS Gallery celebrated its 20th anniversary in its SoHo location last month. The company prides itself on bringing limited-edition artwork to a broader audience and has 19 global galleries. Without diminishing the distinctive qualities that come with exclusive art, the company disrupts the norms of typical galleries by selling 75-150 editions of each piece. This allows unique art to be admired for its individuality while also allowing more enthusiasts to partake in the fine artwork.
To help the LUMAS Gallery ring in 20 years of the “liberation of arts,” Yobo Spirits sponsored the open bar. Their aperitifs and soju were offered along with a delicious blend of cocktails. DJ Risa was on deck as guests roamed the gallery, and her mixes added to the space’s ambiance.
On the gallery’s lower floor, WhiteWall Media provided an immersive photo experience where guests could have their picture taken by a professional photographer. LUMAS Gallery offered an experience that allowed guests to explore their space more dynamically.
LUMAS also featured never-before-seen works from its signature artists. Artist Matthew Cusick was in attendance, and his work was admired. Before guests departed, the gallery held a raffle, where attendees could win a limited edition signed Isabelle Menin art drop or a set of Yobo Spirits Kish Aperitif flavors.
