Making Spanish fashion history, Juana Martín brought her Andalusian heritage to Paris Haute Couture Week 2025, becoming the only woman ever granted access to this institution. On the second day of the Official Haute Couture Calendar, the designer unveiled her seventh couture collection.
After receiving the award of the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts this year, Juana Martín has continued to establish herself in the fashion world. Behind the scenes, Rafael Maqueda and Menchu Benítez, joined her in leading the artistic direction of hair and makeup, where ICON brand’s high-end product line made its appearance. Completing each look from head to toe, handcrafted Italian shoes by Francesca Bellavita added the finishing touches.

Drawing inspiration from deeply rooted Andalusian traditions, Juana Martín’s AW25 collection highlighted religious fervor, hence the name, Fervor. Transporting guests to a Holy Week procession, the collection seamlessly blended faith, fashion, and culture. Remaining loyal to her signature black and white palette, the designer immersed the collection in black ruán. Petals and sacred images surrounded the deep black fabric traditionally used to create the robes of “nazarenos,” or “penitents.” With various representations of Christ and the Virgin, each look was adorned with glamorous jewelry and unique materials.
