The aesthetic shades brand Blenders Eyewear announced its March Radness campaign in a recent press release. This effort was done alongside the MESA Foundation to support the San Diego State University Athletics (SDSU) men’s basketball program.
In addition to their planned thrilling events and celebrations that have been going on this month, their limited edition TWELVE sunglasses launched on March 1st, with only 300 pairs for sale on their website. This exclusive installment was a reenvisioned style of the very first shade design of Blenders Eyewear entitled The Show.
The release of the TWELVE sunglasses doubles as a celebration for the brand whose been running since 2012, commemorating its 12th anniversary. Notably, 100% of the profits will go towards supporting NIL goals for the SDSU men’s basketball team funneled through the MESA foundation, whose mission is to donate $75,000.
Chase Fisher, the founder and CEO of Blenders Eyewear and an SDSU alum, said in the press release, “San Diego State University ignited my entrepreneurial journey, and now it’s our turn to give back.”
Jeff Smith, founder and president of the MESA Foundation, was reported saying “Chase’s journey serves as a testament to the transformative potential within our student community, and this contribution to our cause marks a thrilling moment for our men’s basketball program.” in the press release.
