Melissa Odabash Still Fabulous After 25 Years

Melissa Odabash knows how to make a splash—both in the swimwear industry and beyond. This year at Miami Swim Week® – The Shows, the celebrated designer marked a dazzling 25 years in fashion with an exclusive anniversary collection that brought together signature style, star power, and an unforgettable setting.

Hosted at the iconic Bass Museum of Art, the event was a masterclass in elegance and curation. Odabash transformed the museum into a lush tropical escape, blending high fashion with high culture. Guests enjoyed a private viewing of the museum’s galleries before indulging in a rosé-filled cocktail hour featuring Whispering Angel and a bespoke drink aptly named “The Odabash,” made with Sonrisa Rum. The evening culminated in an intimate, salon-style runway show attended by just 150 VIP guests—an intentional nod to the exclusivity and personal touch that has defined her brand over the years.

And the guest list? Nothing short of star-studded. Real Housewives of New York star and model Kelly Bensimon not only sat front row—she also graced the runway. Joining her were Love Island UK’s Olivia Attwood and her husband, footballer Bradley Dack, Golden Bachelorette standout Joan Vassos, actress Gabrielle Anwar, and on-air personality Matt Dillon, all of whom watched the show unfold with front-row flair.

As for the collection, Odabash delivered exactly what her loyal fans adore: sophisticated swimwear, airy beach dresses, luxe accessories, and pieces from her coveted Après-Plage line. Drawing inspiration from the sun-drenched, slow-burning glamour of Marrakech, the Après-Plage looks capture that elusive transition from beachside lounging to twilight cocktails. The palette—crisp whites, deep blacks, and vibrant tropical prints—reminded us that Odabash’s muse is, and always has been, the jet-setting woman with a suitcase full of style and a passport inked with adventure.

From the show’s setting to its styling, Melissa Odabash’s 25th anniversary was more than a fashion moment—it was a love letter to the journey, the woman, and the world she designs for.
