A NADA (New Art Dealers Alliance) Miami press release revealed how beautiful works of art were commemorated by artists and buyers at their annual art fair, held from December 5-9. This 21st Edition saw great success, with a high turnout of artists, exhibitors, and buyers and fantastic sales throughout the event, as reported by NADA Miami.
The colorful art fair held in the Miami heat received 85 NADA members and 34 new exhibitors, with many seeing success within the first day. According to the press release, Sebastian Gladstone, a Los Angeles-based gallery, sold out booths filled with compelling oil paintings by G.V Rodriguez, with pieces costing anywhere between $13,00 and $25,000.
Two other New York-based galleries experienced the same fortune. Management, based in lower Manhattan, sold suspenseful artworks by artist Katie Hector for $10,000 a piece. Storage, an artist-run gallery, debuted at the fair with its multi-artist exhibition, which also sold out on the first day, as reported by NADA Miami.
Various exhibitors were very pleased with the success of the event and how positively the public embraced their booths. LATITUDE Gallery of New York stated, “[We] made significant sales of works by Ellie Kayu Ng, which were received with great enthusiasm by collectors… additionally, the foot traffic and engagement at the booth have been remarkable.” in the press release.
Guests of the art fair rejoiced the first evening at the after-party in ZeyZey Miami. Partiers witnessed kick-off performances by soft rock artist Michael Farneti and electronic artist Mia Carucci. They continued to dance and celebrate an artistic Miami day by enjoying DJ sets from various talents. One being art collector and curator Ademar Britto, Bebe, and Popolet Sound System.
It’s great to see traditional media continue being appreciated and admired by art enthusiasts. We hope more art fairs and events like the ones held by NADA Miami continue their mission to spotlight artists and spread this creative medium worldwide.
