SHAN, a Canadian luxury clothing brand, revealed its Cruise 2025 and SS25 collections at Miami Swim Week on May 31. The runway show showcased a diverse range of pieces of unique styles and moods.
“The Cruise and SS 2025 collections embody an air of modernity and avant-garde designs, inspired by the promise of a dreamy future. This collection is an invitation to journey into a whole new world of swimwear couture.” Chantal Levesque, founder and head designer of SHAN, was quoted in the press release.
From looks exuding elegant mystique to bold tropical, many of the newest pieces were eccentric but refined. A mixture of deep blues, golden hues, and neutrals concocted rich, delicate swimwear. Monotone two-pieces featured bold colors such as teal blue, lemon yellow, silver martini, and additional vibrant shades.
Eye-catching metallic fabrics seamlessly bounced off lights, a conspicuous characteristic that stood out from its counterparts. Other bikinis and one-pieces were colored in classic black, a timeless shade most consider necessary in their wardrobes.
The collection evoked visions of the scintillating crystal clear ocean, sun-baked sand, and sparkling wine, just like one would see lounging around on a serene tropical island, sipping a martini.
The flowy mesh cover-ups are an elegant, romantic touch, a fabric that whimsically dances in the summer breeze. Urbanesque jackets are paired fashionably over delicate bikinis, ultimately giving this collection a taste of and for the diverse.
SHAN announced that the Cruise 2025 collection will be released in October 2024, while the Spring-Summer 2025 collection will be available in January the following year.
