There are many important issues in today’s society, and there are numerous brands who are actively involved in trying to raise awareness for them. Here are some of the many brands who are giving back this month.
Ralph Lauren
This month, Ralph Lauren is raising awareness for cancer. Known for their ponies on polo shirts, Ralph Lauren created a Pink Pony collection in efforts to ensure that every patient has access to quality care and treatment. 25% of each item’s purchase price is donated to an international network of cancer charities. When shopping the Pink Pony oxford shirt or unisex fleece hoodie, 100% of the item’s purchase price is donated to the Pink Pony Fund of The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation. The very first Pink Pony campaign launched in 2000, and the brand has been doing the collection every year since.
Tory Burch
The purpose of the brand Tory Burch is to empower and support women. Through The Tory Burch Foundation, education, capital, and digital resources are provided for women who want to build a business. When shopping the Tory Burch Foundation Collection, 100% of net proceeds are put towards the work to empower women to be as successful as they can be.
Wildfang
The clothing brand Wildfang has been committed to giving back to good causes. They have donated over a million dollars to causes like ACLU, Girls Inc., Tegan & Sara Foundation, and many more. Currently, they are partnered up with Pledge1%, pledging at least 1% of their annual revenue to organizations who give back to the community. They are also partnered up with The Trevor Project to promote crisis and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth.
CASETiFY
The stylish phone case company CASETiFY has created a breast cancer awareness phone case collection. For the entire month of October, CASETiFY is going to be donating $5 of each purchase made from the Breast Cancer Awareness Collection to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Using sustainable materials, the collection has cute designs for all different kinds of devices.
Abercrombie & Fitch
Abercrombie & Fitch gives back all year round in support of the pride community. In partnership with The Trevor Project, the brand is continuously raising money year-round through their Pride Collection. Regardless of how much they make in sales, they are going to donate $400,000 towards the cause, and with help from customers, it could be more.
TOMS
The shoe brand TOMS is all about mental health and sustainability. TOMS is partnered with various mental health services, so whenever you buy a pair of TOMS, you are helping fund access to mental health resources for those around you. Not only do they advocate for mental health resources but also invest 1/3 of their profits to grassroots campaigns to drive towards sustainable change.
