SIGAL’s newest seaside resort and spring 2025 collection, entitled ALIZÉ, debuted on a courtyard runway at South Beach Hotel on May 31 as part of Miami Swim Week. The collection features 24 distinct looks containing hand-painted prints by the Venezuelan founder and designer Sigal Cohen Wolkowiez.
Alizé means “trade wind” in French, and its debuted pieces reflect this. The collection inspires the whims of adventure and serene feelings from the sun-kissed tropics, from coastal-colored swimwear and flowy dresses to paisley kaftans.
Gorgeous breezy dresses and skirts blend green, magenta, peach, and orange tones, resulting in rich ombres. Several bikinis, one and two pieces, exhibit tropical prints that embody the seaside life of Miami. While others feature a paisley pattern, adding a touch of cowboy flair to a bohemian Americana aesthetic.
According to the press release, SIGAL’s newest collection is inspired by Miami’s art deco architecture and Southwest’s deserts.
“Each collection I create is an ode to the city’s intoxicating spirit. Miami isn’t just a place; it’s a lifestyle. Through my designs, I paint its essence into every fabric and invite the world to experience its undeniable appeal.” founder Wolkowiez was quoted as stating in the press release.
You can preorder the resort wear pieces at www.shopsigal.com and buy them in stores this November. The Spring 2025 collection will be available this upcoming February.
