T. Cooper’s Top 10 Beauty Looks from NYFW

As usual, New York Fashion Week was a whirlwind that came and went in the blink of an eye. During all of the glamorous chaos, we were able to see some gorgeous beauty looks to compliment the amazing pieces on the runway. Here are my top 10 favorite glam looks from this season.

Flirty lashes at Alice + Olivia. The MUA’s  used Pro Lash lashes in the style Classic Luxe to create sky high length.

It was all about the wet look at Jason Wu. Jimmy Paul used Tressemme hair gel to create this sleek, wavy style.

Cobalt blue rounded wings were featured at the Atelier Ndigo show. The Major Face makeup team (keyed by yours truly) used Glamazon Beauty for this fun take on a classic wing. The designers are Black and used all Black models, so I thought it was important to use a Black beauty brand.

We saw gorgeous, rust colored ombré lips at the Palomo Spain show. The sharp black lip line was a fashion forward contrast to the softness of the ombre lip.

Frederick Anderson’s show gave us some serious 70s nostalgia with these stunning Afros by Edward Tricomi.

It’s the 3D lashes for us. The MAC team created a futuristic look equipped with long, spiked lashes for the Luar show.

While we’re talking about Luar, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention this amazing sculptural hair created by Evanie Frausto using Bumble and Bumble

I’m never mad at a pretty pink ribbon. Lacey Redway corseted a blush ribbon in between two Dutch braids at Christian Soriano for Tresemme.

The Pat McGrath team delivers swoon-worthy mermaid looks for Anna Sui, using her eponymous makeup line, Anna Sui Cosmetics. This is by far my favorite makeup of the season, such a fun, playful look!

A recurring theme this season is the wet look, giving a nod to the Mermaidcore aesthetic. Marin Mullen created a beautiful look using Bread. Sometimes there’s strength in simplicity. I loved this wet look with loose braid, adorned with a statement flower accessory at Sandy Liang.

The glam teams really brought it this season in terms of beauty and creativity, it was pretty difficult to narrow it down to just 10 looks. I hope you’ve enjoyed my New York Fashion Week beauty round up. Which look was your favorite?
