This year, New York Fashion Week brought all the glitz and glamour. Many talented designers showed off their latest collections, including Tadashi Shoji‘s Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The women’s bridal and formal wear brand revealed its digital-only presentation on February 10, using futuristic AI technology. This innovative storytelling captured the collection’s theme, the essence of “Time.”
“Embrace the tender nostalgia of moments past and the thrill of those yet to come,” says Shoji’s show notes. A love letter to the passing by of time, the collection draws inspiration from both time and poetry. Each piece is said to be as graceful as the dance of hours, days, and years.
Flawless fabrics represent the romance of the past, present, and future. Satin-piped texture crepe and delicate embroidery on tulle capture the ticks of clocks and their lively mechanisms of gears and springs. Laser-cut motifs in textured crepe and velvet breathe life into the graceful patterns. Once again, in textured crepe, shuttered pleats enhance the elegance of archival details, while paillette-embroidered tulle shimmers with each silhouette. All the while, a vivacious organza jacquard glides across the collection, crafting a timeless sophistication.
Tadashi Shoji put his trademark of effortless femininity and flawless fit into this collection. Alongside the designer were other creatives to make the presentation possible.
