On Sunday, March 10, the 96th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Culminating award season by celebrating achievement in the film industry, the Oscars are one of the most anticipated events in the entertainment industry every year. Besides the awards to look forward to, the fashion is always just as exciting! Here are the best looks from the 2024 Oscars.
Emma Stone
The winner for Best Actress for her leading role in acclaimed film Poor Things, Emma Stone‘s dress actually broke during the ceremony, though she dazzled on the red carpet hours earlier. The actress donned a custom Louis Vuitton gown in a mint, almost white color. The strapless gown featured a peplum skirt and was accessorized with a yellow diamond necklace from Louis Vuitton’s high jewelry collection.
Colman Domingo
Nominated for Best Actor for his role in the film Rustin, Colman Domingo has stunned the red carpet this entire award season. It’s no surprise that he once again brought an amazing look to the carpet at the Oscars, this time in a Louis Vuitton black suit. The double-breasted suit jacket featured intricate buttons and trousers that flared over the true star of the carpet: a pair of steel-toe cowboy boots.
Gabrielle Union
Attending the carpet alongside her husband Dwyane Wade, who was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short category, Gabrielle Union stunned in a matching set from Carolina Herrera‘s pre-Fall 2024 collection. With a silver strapless peplum top paired with a maxi skirt, Union accessorized with statement jewelry from Tiffany and Co.
Taylor Zakhar Perez
Actor Taylor Zakhar Perez appeared on the red carpet brightly standing out from the other men at the Oscars. Wearing a dusky blue Prada suit, Perez’s look featured two-tone lapels that blended in with the black shirt he was wearing underneath the jacket. With several black accents to compliment the lighter colors of his suit, Perez was refreshing to see on a carpet that featured men in plain, black suits.
Emily Blunt
Appearing alongside her husband John Krasinski, Emily Blunt has also been a fashion icon this award season as she attended the Oscars as part of the cast of Best Picture winner Oppenheimer. Wearing a white Schiaparelli couture gown with a high leg slit, Blunt paired her look with Tiffany and Co. jewelry while her husband matched her in a white tuxedo.
