Vanderbilt in Vogue: Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin’s January Cover

On February 11th, Vogue Czechoslovakia held an exclusive launch event for the Vanderbilt in Vogue. Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, the direct descendant, is gracing the cover of the magazine’s January issue. The event was held at the Campbell Bar in Grand Central, whose lavish architecture pays homage to the Gilded Age. During this time, Cornelius Vanderbilt built their family’s wealth in railroads and shipping. The massive fortunes were spent on grand mansions like The Marble House and The Breakers in Newport, Rhode Island.

Deemed by the media as the “rebel heiress,” Costin has constantly pushed the creative boundaries in fashion, music, and business. Costin founded the contemporary jewelry brand Homage with HSN within the fashion world. Inspired by family heirlooms, the stunning jewels paid tribute to Vanderbilt women. The 25-piece collection featured elegant pearl rings, necklaces, and earrings. Costin’s multi-faceted skill set also led her to the top of the Billboard Charts. Signing her first record deal at the age of 21, Costin went on to create her record label, C&R Productions. If the superstar’s undeniable entrepreneurial spirit is not apparent to you yet, she also founded Soho Muse. The platform is a leading professional network for creatives to discuss opportunities, attend events, and promote their talents.

Costin’s anticipated Vogue cover is an incredible accomplishment that deserves a celebration. We are excited to see what the entrepreneur has in store next!

XOXO,

Your Fashion Bestie
