How do we make an artistic protest against mass consumption? That was my goal with this editorial. A project where fashion and art transcend the limits of convention. Using collections from designers who are dedicated to sustainability, every item from this shoot was upcycled from discarded materials. These talented new designer’s collections are proving that the old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”, or to me more gender inclusive “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure”, is indeed true. The upcycled items are transformed into innovative garments for socially conscious individuals.
We invite you to join us in our fight to save the world by going away from mass consumption and dare to be part of this revolution.
