I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the hunt for a good happy hour. Now that it’s warming up in NYC, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite happy hours where the service doesn’t skimp on quality. I am too boujee for my own good, so I don’t like going anywhere that has premade happy-hour drinks on tap. So, trust me, I won’t do you wrong with these recommendations.
Claudia’s | 39 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211
I am obsessed with this place. The happy hour martinis are only $6. Yes, you read that right, $6. On top of that, they have a happy hour food and non-alcoholic drink menu if you prefer not to drink. My favorite drink here is the Spicy Passion Fruit Martini. SO Yum.
The Lobby Bar at Ace Hotel New York | 20 W 29th St, New York, NY 10001
I wanted to gatekeep this one so bad, but I won’t. This is one of my favorite places in Manhattan to be on my laptop. Happy hour starts early at 3 pm, and the drinks are strong & delicious. It’s a chic, dark academia vibe. I’m a big fan of the Amber Spritz.
Bella Union | 411 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10016
This is a great place to go with a big group. The space is two floors, and has a cute rooftop. Their happy hour rotates every day, but the options are solid. They have $5 espresso martinis every Tuesday. I’ve also gotten their $10 happy hour burgers, and they were a huge portion.
Cozy Royale | 434 Humboldt St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
This is an amazing place to go for dinner or happy hour. Their famous smash burger & fries combo is only $10. Pair that with a $10 martini, and you’ll be set for the night.
Botanica | 47 E Houston St, New York, NY 10012
I’ve been going to this happy hour for years. Mainly because they have a happy hour every day, not just on weekdays. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I like the divey, cool aesthetic of this bar. A lovely place to watch the sunset with your friends after work or on the weekend.
