Art spotlighted under the radiant Miami sun was admired by thousands of folk attending the 22nd edition of the SCOPE Art Show. The international affair held from December 5th to 10th received over 122,000 guests who had access to 100 curated presentations and 70 art galleries of contemporary art, marking this as another successful exhibit.
SCOPE was happy to commemorate its flagship program, The New Contemporary. In this creative space, one could observe various art installations with symbolic messages, listen to educational panels, groove to catchy music, and attend wellness programs to destress.
Planted on the warm sand, the prominent and eye-catching art installations were the SCOPE Walls. These installations comprise the mural project entitled “NOT SO BLACK AND WHITE”, a collaborative creation of SCOPE and STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam.
Artists from all over the world were responsible for mural designs, specifically Pref ID, HoxxoH, The London Police, Bisco Smith, Anthony Garcia Sr., ELLE, Mando Marie, and Valfre. The art project demonstrated SCOPE’s commitment to continuously work at an international level, while simultaneously respecting the local community.
The Miami art fair also displayed various other art installations, each conveying unique concepts and symbolism inspired by society, culture, history, and the world at large.
Collectors were happy to look through arts of work and procure ones valuable to them. Galleri Ramfjord from Norway displayed 26 US and European artworks, which were sold to both returning and brand-new collectors.
Elisabeth Ramjford, owner of the Norweigan gallery stated “This year has been our best year ever at SCOPE, we are so happy for the great response. The new curation at SCOPE was very inspiring and the number of visitors and genuine interest was highly appreciated”.
During sunset hours, attendees could view live performances and listen to music, some artists who played in the creative center were talented DJ Tokyo Rose and Trackstar the DJ. Throughout these raving hours, guests were offered drinks and indulged in different types of food, snacks, and drinks they got from sites Stella Artois Frites Lounge and Joe & The Juice activation.
The SCOPE Miami Art Fair marked a week full of artistry, inspiration, and fun. Exhibitors were able to share and showcase artwork as collectors were able to get to know new talents from around the world and purchase pieces they admired.
