There are red carpets, and then there are red carpets. The Devil Wears Prada 2 world premiere was one of those, and I’m not saying that as a spectator. I was actually there working it, besties. My agency, Major Face, was booked to handle the red-carpet hosts, and the whole time I looked around and thought, “Okay… this is iconic.” Full props to the next-level carpet itself, but the glam really showed out!
The energy was exactly what you would expect. Celebrities, fashion people, beauty people, cameras everywhere, and that palpable mix of excitement and pressure that only happens when everyone knows this premiere is about to go live all over the world. It’s fast, it’s loud, it’s a little chaotic, but when it all comes together, it’s magical.

From a beauty perspective, what I loved most was how polished everything felt without being boring. I appreciate that nobody tried too hard to create a moment. They were just one. The looks were intentional. Skin looked like skin, but perfected. Hair had movement, shape, and personality. It felt like people actually thought about the full look, not just “what’s trending.” This was the kind of glam that photographs beautifully but also looks stunning in real life.
What stood out to me overall was how cohesive everything felt. The beauty didn’t compete with the fashion; it supported it, elevated it, and in some cases, quietly stole the show. That, my friends, is when you know it’s done right.
I pulled together a few of my favorite beauty looks from the night. These are the ones that made me pause for a second and snap an approval. There were so many good looks, but I chose the ones that felt fresh, organic, and just really well executed.

Working a carpet like this is always a reminder of how much detail goes into what people see for a few seconds on a screen. Every look is a collaboration, and when it all hits the way it did here, it really shows. And with the film dropping May 1, this was just a preview of the kind of fashion and beauty moments we’re about to see everywhere. You already know the outfits are currently being coordinated to go see Miranda and Andy square up 20 years later.
