On a gray rainy day in the heart of Manhattan, you wouldn’t expect the unveiling of elegant bridal dresses across fancy city building floors. Yet April 3rd marked Nardos’, the brand known for its luxurious gowns, celebratory time to reveal its new Spring 2025 Bridal Collection.
Noted in the presentation notes, the latest line of bridal dresses was inspired by the romantic Victorian era, notably seen by the feminine and delicate features of the garments. Corsetry elements, lace overlays, and floral embroidery were just some of the aesthetic details bestowed on the dresses.
Branching from traditional styles, this line aimed to reconceptualize the aforementioned antique period. It incorporates colors beyond the classic bridal white. Natural greens, conspicuous violets, and pastel blues were incorporated into various garments, breathing Springtime into the collection.
As I was roaming the brightly lit halls with long mirrors and hanging dresses, I appreciated the intricately designed gowns surrounding me. The dresses truly were able to convey a piece of the blossoming season. Whether that was the flowery embroidery that decorated the feminine figures, the wrapping of a dress evocative of the delicate folds of blooming roses, or the long ruffled skirts you can imagine yourself running into flower fields with, it truly spoke of Spring!
Beyond the dresses, I noticed small details like rings that graciously matched the model’s garments, these were from Donna Distefano as noted in the presentation notes. It was also mentioned the shoes were from Steve Madden, although most were barely visible under the long bridal dresses.
Guests for the fashion exhibition enjoyed different kinds of drinks, I took sips of the Isotta Manzoni Prosecco D.O.C wine which I sat down to enjoy thoroughly. Others were taking bites of delicacies laid on a fanciful table. The brand’s luxuriousness was effectively mirrored in its refined bridal presentation which many were pleased to be a part of.
Juxtaposed against a dark sky and gnarly rainfall, the newest Nardos collection conveyed the sunniness and renewal of Spring- a style many feminine fashion lovers will adore and appreciate.
